Sample timeline of the EB-5 process

The Process

» Your LLC will purchase and operate a ‘Home Center’ franchise operation. Home Center is a registered franchise business based in Florida. All required franchise disclosure documents and agreements are available for your inspection in advance.

» Some of the capital will be used to open a Home Center franchise, including the lease of office space; purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment; renovations to the office space; advertising and marketing; hiring of start up employees; procurement of licenses and permits and to establish a cash reserve.

» The balance of the capital will be invested by your Home Center business into a Mortgage Note Investment program under the management of BridgeWell Capital LLC (www.bridgewellcapital.com) which is a licensed mortgage lender whose owners and management team have over 20 years experience in the bridge mortgage loan investment business, having funded and serviced over $200,000,000 of these types of loans. Your Home Center LLC will own 100% of all the Mortgage Notes purchased, ensuring that you have complete ownership and control over all aspects of your EB-5 business.

» The Mortgage Note Investment program is designed to yield the investor $40,000 per year in returns, which equals an 8% annual return on the entire $500,000 of investment capital.

» Once the investor has submitted the Form I-829 to USCIS and has received permanent resident visas for themself and family (which typically occurs within 36 months after the initial investment), the investor, at their option,
may request the liquidation of their mortgage notes. Because of the liquidity of the Mortgage Note Investment program, the investor will typically be repaid all invested capital within a few months of the request in conjunction with the sale or maturity of the mortgage notes.

» The investor does not need to live near the business or manage it personally.
